On April 25, 2025, GUOFUHEE had the honor of participating in the launch of the first low-carbon Hydrogen Plant in the Midwest, located on the UFMS campus in Campo Grande (MS).
The plant is based on alkaline electrolysis technology, with a generation capacity of 20 Nm³/h of hydrogen, and was designed with the purpose of enabling the development of applications in Research and Development (R&D), integrating efforts in applied research, technical qualification and industrial innovation.
GUOFUHEE was responsible for the complete development of the engineering design, construction, assembly, installation, commissioning and start-up of the unit, in addition to providing solutions and technical support for the systems related to hydrogen production and handling, in line with international best practices in operational safety and energy efficiency.
This is the second system with this configuration (100 kW AWE) that GUOFUHEE has installed in Brazil.
"This system is identical to the one we use at our technical training center for alkaline electrolysis systems, within SENAI Indaiatuba. With this system now operational in Campo Grande, we will be able to put our ecosystem into operation and meet the technical demands of our customers in the Midwest."”.
Says Pedro Henrique, Executive Director of GUOFUHEE in Brazil.
This project reaffirms GUOFUHEE's commitment to developing technological infrastructure in Brazil and building an increasingly robust, safe, and competitive national hydrogen ecosystem capable of meeting the industrial and energy demands of the transition to a low-carbon economy.
