Guofuhee is among the key players in a new and ambitious initiative aimed at strengthening the green hydrogen supply chain in Chile. Together with the Chilean company Fastpack S.A., Guofuhee will lead the implementation of Hypack Chile, a dedicated electrolyzer assembly plant in Santiago, with support from the Chilean government through the development agency CORFO.
The facility will have the capacity to assemble alkaline electrolyzers (between 100 kW and 1 MW) and proton exchange membrane (PEM, between 50 kW and 1 MW). Furthermore, a significant portion of the auxiliary systems will be produced locally, promoting the nationalization of the supply chain and expanding value generation within Chile.
With its technological and strategic involvement in the project, Guofuhee reinforces its commitment to the energy transition in South America and strengthens regional cooperation through its active participation in the CORFO project, responsible for promoting national production and economic growth.
This move is part of a larger effort by Chile to develop a solid industrial base specialized in clean technologies. According to Corfo, this new stage represents a significant differentiator in the country's ambition to not only produce green hydrogen but also master key stages of engineering and manufacturing.
